Keep product decisions close to the build
Product decisions affect the interface, and interface decisions affect the engineering. Keeping those conversations in one team means fewer hand-offs and a clearer view of what each choice will cost.
Mindlane brings product planning, UX and engineering together from the first release decision through launch.
The first release
The first release should let someone complete one worthwhile journey from beginning to end. We define that journey, test the uncertain parts and show you working software regularly. The feature list grows only after the core product holds together.
Our remote software project scoping guide covers the brief, boundaries and decisions needed before delivery. You can also review how Mindlane runs a project.
Architecture and handover
The right architecture depends on expected use, integrations, sensitive data, availability and who will own the product later. We use established platform services where they fit and record the decisions another team would need to continue the work.
Your team stays involved through regular reviews, with clear decisions and priorities at each stage.
Common questions
Can you work with our existing product team?
Yes. We can take responsibility for a defined product area or work alongside your product, design and engineering colleagues.
Do you build both the interface and the backend?
Yes, when the product needs both. That can include responsive interfaces, application services, data models and third-party integrations. We assess native mobile work and specialist infrastructure separately.
Can another team take over later?
Yes. We can hand over source access, deployment notes, architecture decisions, dependencies and known limitations, then walk the receiving team through them.
